This beetle is probably Xenohammus bimaculatus Schwarzer, 1931, but the black spot seems somehow very large.
What do you think?

Xenohammus nigromaculatus (Pic, 1926), described from Tonkin, might correspond to this specimen better than bimaculatus (described from Taiwan).

Excellent! My beetle originates from Guangxi, a province adjacent to Tonkin.

That obviously means that like Francesco's beetle here mine is also Xenohammus nigromaculatus (Pic, 1926). The same locality as well.
