I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a good picture of Plagionotus bisbifasciatus, Pic 1915 on the internet or in somebody’s private collection? And if so, if that person wants to post it as a Cerambycinae Type? I’ve found the original description, but to see the actual species would be great. It’s such a wonderful genus!
Dear Don-Alexander, welcome to the Forum! I think that the type should be preserved in Paris but I also think that no picture is still available on the Web. Xavier and Gerard have taken numerous pictures of the types preserved in Paris and of Pic's types as well. Most of them have been firstly presented in the secret type section of this Forum. Maybe they have or will have the opportunity to photograph this taxon as well.
