10 mm. Quirino, luzon, Philippines.
No name. I have Aurivillius (1926) and Hudepohl (1996) papers, but... Close to this one, here ? |

Check also G. exculta, which should have elytra lateral lines replaced by a few spots. |

I have posted here the picture of G. exculta from Hudepohl(1996) which have a complete sutural stripe, and I don't know what thinking : As Aurivillius said (1926), this species should have " sutural stripe wanting or only distinct behind the middle"... |

Yes, I also suggested G. exculta just because of this Aurivillius' description in his key for Glenea, but I don't know if this suggestion is correct. I did not see a picture of the nominal subspecies. Please note that the picture of Huedepohl, 1996 shows another variation G. exculta claripennis. |

A tub with some polystyrene, absorbent material like kitchen roll and hot boiling water will relax specimens overnight. |
