Some interesting Prioninae from Vietnam, Sa Pa environs.
In my mind, this is looked as Spinimegopis but peculiar (big head, very short mandibules, pygidium beaky deflected upwards ).
Male, 37 mm. Help, please

Not so easy without some experience.. Prioninae is not of my favourite group. First my "investigation" vagabonding about lividipennis-group But next i was given to understand that it is S. perroti (Fuchs, 1966).
This beetle (from Hoang Lien nat. park) have a very small and feebly projected process of prosternum, forefoots long and slender, protibia depressed. Finally, the antennae as dominant character to corresponded well.
