Big species from Tapah Hills.
19mm, female.
Probably, color variation from E. ignitus (without central longitudinal stripe..)

Central stripe? Your specimen matches the type quite well in my opinion.

The type has no important difference in mine opinion, at least as concerns the color.

Now I understand
You have been following Larry's webpages - please, do it only as a first step, an indication where to start.
The photo on the left probably shows E. putus.
I'm in doubt as concerns the second one.
By contrast your specimen is almost identical to the type.

Not exactly I have a very similar specimen from Malacca but with some differences in elytral design. I make picture afterward in this topic.
