I am slightly confused by the attached species taken at Doi Lang, Chiang Mai Province on 18 October 2014.

My book of Thailand Beetles gives the name Arctolamia cruciatus, but I am unable to find that name anywhere else.
This looks like A. luteomaculata.

yes, it should be Arctolamia luteomaculata Pu, 1981 please see here.
Arctolamia cruciata has a white spot at shoulder, please see the holotype here

Actually, I believe Arctolamia luteomaculata is a variety of Arctolamia cruciata.

Arctolamia cruciata was put in synonymy with A. luteomaculata by Hüdepohl himself in 1995!
