Last days I got a strange Chlorophorus from a colleague collected nearby Zadar (Croatia), maybe an introduced species, there are any similar observations, I have no idea about the species. |

and you think it's not a "morpha" of Chlorophorus figuratus (Scopoli, 1763) ? I don't see what is it... |

I notice a small spine at the marginal apex of the elytra. Unfortunately, I have no figuratus here in order to check this character... |

Je voulais dire varius!
Chlorophorus varius var. incarnus? |

Yes, quite the same spines for C. varius. You understand why I spoke about yellowish hair. |

Thanks you both for the comments, the blackish area have the same yellowish to golden hairs like in C. figuratus, but the sculpture on the pronotum is quite different and the 1st white elytral line too (more open behind in figuratus), the C. varius v. incarnus looks very similar, but has a complete different pronotal surface too (at least the typical varius), maybe an artefact at my spm.

closer to C.varius for me (and because the yellowish hair), even if it's a stange morpha. |
