The sculpturing on the pronotum can be used to separate D. pauper and D. pauperoides. Also, D. pauperoides is usually much larger (> 35 mm ) and D. pauper is usually < 30 mm.
There are several other species in SE Asia (Laos, Thailand, China, Myanmar ) which I do not know.
