Sphingnotus mirabilis splendens Gressitt, 1984 described after an immature spms from Biak, I have 2 spms too, and I think this ssp. is justified.

You says that this species was described from an inmature specimens from Biak, I don't understand it

Hi Sergi, the type spm is in bad condition, and I thought this ssp. is only a S. mirabilis mirabilis, but after I got a good one I can confirm the ssp. splendes from Biak.

Thank you Gerard for your share. I think that this subspecies is endemic from Biak only.
