This species is similar to Jordanoleiopus (Polymitoleiopus) antennalis (Jordan, 1894) suggested here, but differs by light bands united near the suture in the middle of elytra.
According to Breuning (1958) it might be Jordanoleiopus (Polymitoleiopus) conradti (Aurivillius, 1907), but the ratio of lower eye lobes and cheeks seems different. |

| Oui c'est bon il s'agit bien de conradti. Mais on voit que quand on possède plusieurs individus de plusieurs espèces que la notion de différences spécifiques chez les Jordanoleiopus est bien faible et ne tien pas à grand chose. |

| Indeed, I have series of beetles with colour patterns, which form practically continues transition from J. antennalis to J. conradti. Other characters are necessary. |

| I have both cash collection and characters apart coloring are almost nonexistent or rather nothing consistent! Moreover, the differences other than the color are very subjective !! The problem is not unique to these two species, but in almost all species monoxenus group conradti, gardneri, gabonicus, antennalis etc ... There are well-marked species but in the given group above is particularly complicated and types to compare and I would think there would be surprises! |
