With Gressitt's key (1951), yes, it is a Perissus. << first posterior tarsal segment generally at least twice as long as following two segments combined ; posterior femora usually extending beyond elytral apices >> |

Dear Nasa, Here a Perissus elongatus similar to the type specimen. Your specimen is different, and not P. elongatus. |

Your species is (or close to ?) Perissus asperatus Gressitt, 1951, known from Hainan and Taiwan, but also Guangdong. Illustration in Gressitt (1951) |
