Both specimen you noted, really belongs to the same species. But it is definitely not C. dihammaphoroides. I know it from Mindanao only. |

Surely not C. hefferni, which shows bicolor antennae.
Cleomenes dihammaphoroides Thomson, 1864 is a good ID. In Bezark's site, there are specimens with bicolor antennae, but this feature is not present in the original description. Otherwise, maybe C. hefferni must be put in synonymy.

C'est curieux, je n'ai jamais trouvé les Cleomenes au MNHN. Je chercherai d'avantage en octobre prochain. |
