Could you please possibly help with determination of this specimen I collected in N Namibia in December not far from Otjo.
The size is 22mm.

Beautiful beetle ! I think it's Mastigocera albosignata (Chevrolat, 1858)


(By the way: the genus Mallonia disapeared ? )

No, it is correct Mallonia Thomson, 1857.
Mastigocera Dejean, 1935 is older homonym of Mastigocera Berthold in Latreille, 1827.
Check here.

I take this opportunity to underline that the tribe "Neopachystolini" is nomen nudum (no paper supporting this) and unnecessary replacement name.
