Mimosebasmia purpurea Pic, 1948 looks similar, but different pronotal surface and elytral apex, a stange spm.
Bill you have a lot of very interesting vietnamense species where to you get this material.

I purchase it from several sources, one in Da Nang, the other further north. Mainly Ebay purchases and have had no problems with them.

Here is the other specimen.
It too has the right antenna broken and it may not be a male as I am not familiar with the genus. |

I have received Lambillionea where Eduard Vives synonymised Mimosebasmia with Gibbocerambyx.
I perfectly agree with him.
Thus, the new name of this species:
Gibbocerambyx fedorenkoi (Miroshnikov, 2015). |
