A Chlorophorus I think, close to Chlorophorus angustulus MacLeay, 1886 from New Guinea (Papua)

Not sure, but your sp. is also close to Chlorophorus luxatus (Pascoe, 1869). Here some specimens.

Slight differences from both species. Time to flip a coin. Thanks

I have got the same species, from south Sulawesi, Punkak, Palopo :

170.48 KB

This species could be Chlorophorus muscifluvis Gressitt, 1951 (holotype here ).

I am unable to separate Chlorophorus muscifluvis Gressitt, 1951 , Chlorophorus luxatus (Pascoe, 1869) and Chlorophorus angustulus MacLeay, 1886 (as here ). Some synonyms are also possible.

It is not Chlorophorus muscifluvis Gressitt, 1951 which has the 5th antennomera longer than 4th.
