Hello Larry,
That's a weird specimen
It makes me think of the South-African Psathyrus ... it might be something "close" ... |

Thanks, I have no images for that genus.
The topic needs to move to Lamiinae.

Psathyrus Thomson, 1857 is a well-known junior synonym of Listrocerum Chevrolat, 1855 (Psathyrini, now Xystrocerini). We have several species in this forum, but this one has noting to do with it (e.g. scape should be spined, elytra apically acuminate).
I think it does not belong to this tribe either. It is certainly a member of Cerambycinae, maybe Graciliini such as this subfossil species. |

Je reviens sur ce post . Est ce que ça ne serait pas proche du genre Anomoderus ? Genre typiquement malgache. Qu'en dites vous ? |

Do agree Jérôme looks towards Anomoderus lebisi Breuning, 1960 or A. coquerelii Fairmaire, 1871 |

Riana, do you have images of either of these species; both are missing from my website.
I would appreciate it.
