There is another similar one Mesosa obscura (Gahan, 1895), which confused me.

Holzuschuh (2017) synonymised them.
M. obscura is the valid name.

Mesosa (Saimia) obscura Gahan, 1894 in Titan database; did Holzschuh change the subgenus ?
