If there is some south-america Callichromatini specialist...

I have never seen anything like this from South America. And there is nothing like it in the publication on Callichromatini from S. America.

Aie! however it was included in a lot of cerambycinae and Lamiinae from Juan Santos / Atahualpa !.... then south-american species.

May be not a callichromatini ? perhaps a Trachyderini?

C'est exact Francesco, je l'avais écarté en raison de sa provenance..
peut-être un mic-mac du fournisseur avant envoi !... en tout cas, je dois remettre en question la localité de collecte.

Ce n'est pas un Trachyderini. On ne trouve pas chez derniers ce genre de scapes pyriformes, à coin étiré en épine. Le seul genre qui pourrait un tant soit peu ressembler serait éventuellement Pseudodeltaspis, mais avec un pronotum totalement différent, hormis la forme du scape.
Ceci est un Callichromatini. Mais comme Dan je ne vois rien de tel dans la faune néotropicale. Reste celle du sud ouest asiatique...
