I have got all descriptions of Hintz's species (in Latin!) and Breuning's keys. It a group of sibling species, very alike among them.
Nonetheless, according to Hintz's description, erlangeri has "scutello griseo in medio brunneo" and elytral "fasciculi fusco-pilosi" [= dark] and the species seems to be fairly obscure. All these characters correspond to the specimen of Lamiaires, which also has a bicolour antennomere IV.
Hence I think that your specimen is Crossotus argenteus Hintz, 1912, which has "antennis griseis", "scutello cervino" [= light brown], and elytral "fasciculis ... brunneo-pilosis" [= brown]. |
