thank you....i suppose carenifrons is not known so far from India and it is reported to be distributed in Sri Lanka, so could this be a new report to India or am i missing any published account.... |

My identification is only based on the colour of the legs and the fine aspect of the eyltral pattern.
In order to be completely sure, you should check if the anterior spot of the episternum is as large as the posterior one. If the anterior one is smaller than the posterior one (as in the example here), your specimen is X. carenifrons.
