I have several but none have the circular black spot on the elytra. Just a variable species I guess.
Many thanks

For me, your species is closer to this one with back spots...

What is the difference with P. philippensis, Andreas ??

The ones I have are very variable. Some have stripes on the apical half of the elytra, others are dark. It may retire tails to separate them but my limited experience with tails has not been very successful.

It could be interesting to check if both forms belong to the same species or not..

a picture from PT (P. obliquemaculata) in the FREY collection (Basel)
fits the pictures quite well, the diff to P. philippensis I don't know, Breuning's key is not helpfully again.
