Prothema cakli Heyrovský, 1967 ( = Prothema similis Gressitt & Rondon, 1970 selon la base Titan)

Ici , Larry nous présente le dessin original de P. cakli aux bandes jaunes moins larges que P.similis. Cependant, le paratype de P. similis sur la même page montre la variation de l'espèce...

Ok, so I will write it again - this is P.similis.
Prothema cakli is a different species - different colour and shape of all fasciae, especially on pronotum.

Look at titles (3 times for 3 post): I never said it is not P. similis.
Why you don't publish a paper about that ??

The differences were already discussed by Holzschuh within description of P. astutum.
The "synonym" was commented by Danilevsky in his corrections to the Catalogue.

Accordingly, the synonymy cakli = similis (Pesarini & Sabbadini, 1999) is wrong.
The three species are represented here.
