mmmhm... A. vitalisi is a more robust species, with nearly uniform pubescence.

I think my spms from Vietnam are Acalolepta subaurata (Schwarzer, 1931), but described from Borneo a bit strange

after a new proof I believe its A. sericeomicans (Fairmaire, 1889), frons without points, and clypeus with a small incisions at each side anteriorly (see type section) - not a common feature in Acalolepta, or ???

A. sericeomicans (Fairmaire, 1889) ist eine Art der Gruppe "speciosa", deren Typus du hier beobachten kannst.
A. subaurata gehört zur Gruppe "aurata-vitalisi" aber die Halsschildsstachel sind sehr kurz (sieh hier).
Meiner Meinung nach ist deine Art A. aurata oder A. pseudaurata... ich verstehe peinlich die Unterschied, sowieso haben sie den gleichen Typenfundort.

Danke Francesco für Deine neue Info zu der Art, warum sollte es nicht A. sericeomicans sein, der Typus paßt doch recht gut, ich mache b.G. mal ein Frontal-Bild vom Kopf !
