A very little thing from Maryland, looks like an ant with longhorn antennae...

I think it is Cyrtinus pygmaeus.

Data : USA Maryland - Kenwood Beach - Prince Frederick - 7 VI 1952
Size : 2.5 mm

Yes, C. pygmaeus. There's no other species like this in the Eastern USA.

Cyrtinus pygmaeus (Haldeman, 1847), which is a Cyrtinini, for the complete name.
