I. fukiensis Tippman.

Gressitt often determined specimens belonging to this species, mostly from Fujian, as taiwanese I. sozaensis.

Idiostrangalia fukiensis (Tippmann, 1955) for the full name.

According the HT in Bonn I. fukiensis has a light pronotum with a black longitudinal stripe along the middle and a complete red abdomen, so I don't believe it is this sps. I have a picture but I don't know who made this, so its difficult to post it.

Except the tip of abdomen (which can be just a variability), what's exactly the difference here (pronotum)?

I have seen only PT from Kuatun, FUJ, + series determined by Gressitt as I. sozaensis + series collected at various places in ZHE. All seem to be identical.

I'm still little confused with your statement...may be, you mean I. fukienensis Pic and not I. fukiensis Tippmann?
Since HT (male) of I. fukienensis is really in Bonn - it has completely light abdomen, but pronotum should be light (oberseitig schwarzen Halsschild mit nur einem schmalen, hellen, mittleren Längsstreifen).
By contrast, HT of Tippmann's species is female and should be in Basel. Notwithstanding, I would say that it is currently in Holzschuh's collection.
