Well, I also checked the description. It is too short, but in principle fits the beetle... except the same problems like with this specimen: no green pubescence, no 5 light lines in pronotum, the specimen does not come from Java, but from Sumatra. |

Java or Sumatra is not the problem, but if there are only 3 bands on pronotum, it can not be this species. |

A mon avis c'est Glenea Attalea Pascoe, 1867 mise en synonymie avec Glenea lugubris Thomson, 1865 une erreur. Sur le Site de Larry le type est visible. |

Glenea lugubris Thomson, 1865 & Glenea Attalea Pascoe, 1867 have been described from Seram (Molluques), far from Sumatra. |
