It's more probably S. mathildae know in Camerun, Bohemani is widespread on the South of Africa (Tanzanie, Namibie, etc..). The pattern of these species are very close. |

For more indication, here you have a comparison between the two species: mathildae left and bohemani right. As you can see, there is a difference on the shape of anterior pronotal ring (more incurved in the one of mathildae) and on the shoulder carinae.

I have this one too, but from Tanzania right (Dar-Es-Salaam) And white-greenish S. bohemani from Central Africa have similar pronotal ridge..

I think I rushed with emotions. The pronotal ridge of my blue Sternotomis (I got it a long time ago as S. bohemani ferreti) not so curved and differently shaped as ones on Sergi`s foto.. I guess my beetles is normal S. bohemani. Waste panic |
