From the picture below, it seems the 3rd antennal segment is longer than the scape, the lower eye lobe as long as the cheeks, and there is a prominent protrusion on the fron (one of them is broken).
Using Breuning 1958 key, if I follow "elytra dark brown throughout", this keys to Serixia paradoxa fuscipennis. But the front face protrusion is unlike that of the red form of the S. paradoxa that I have (which is described as "very strong triangular tooth directed obliquely outwards"). The front face is also quite flat otherwise, unlike that of S.paradoxa. If I follow "elytra partially red" (which can be seen in the picture above), this leads to Serixia fumosa peraffinis. Makihara has a similar species identified as S.fumosa too. However, both Pascoe and Breuning description said that the third joint is considerably shorter than the scape. So I was quite confused.
