I have this paper, and it is none of them. In fact, I really do not know what is it... |

Holzschuh identified this for me as Demonax martes Pascoe 1869. I have seen some very long series of this species and most of the specimens were consistently marked. However I have at least one aberration which was identified by Dauber in 2001 also as D. martes. I am not convinced it is the same species, but what should be done with one clytine that is slightly different? |

Yes, it is the only possibility (Pascoe wrote that is is close to D. mustela), but I do not know the type of D. martes |

111.86 KB Original description of Demonax martes Pascoe, 1869
This species ( more than one specimen, from Larry Bezark's collection) has constant drawing and last antennomera black . I am not sure it is D. martes... |

It is D. martes. I have collected it in Danum valley, Sabah - thus, it seems to be rather lowland species. |
