I think about an other species known in Vietnam
See here after: left O. callidioides and right O. perroti (Lepesme,1947) male. The two specimens are from Lao Cai (Mt Sapa) / Vietnam.

Your left specimen is not Oplatocera callidioides White, 1853, as you can see with holotype here

The difference between O. perroti and O. callidoides is given by LEPESME P., 1956.LXXVII.- Description d'un nouvel Oplatocera (Col. Cerambycidae). Journal of Natural History. as follow :

Hard to believe this key when you check scapus and 3rd antennomera of O. callidoides on holotype picture...

Oui, Le sillon transverse c'est fort intéressant ! mais quand on voit la longueur du 3eme article sur le type on peux avoir des doutes sur la diagnose !!
Xavier, connais-tu un article qui reprend la plupart des espčces d'Oplatocera ? car cela me semble un peu confus actuellement !

Il est évident que Lepesme connaissait seulement le dessin de O. callidioides, mais pas le type.
