Location: Kerala; using identification key provided in "Revision of Asian Pteropliini" by Breuning (1962), I arrived to Phesates sp...any idea or suggestions...

Only 2 species in genus Phesates Pascoe, 1865 :

Phesates ferrugatus Pascoe, 1865 from Malaisia (Sarawak), holotype here and Phesates uniformis Breuning, 1938 from Malaisia (Malacca).
I am not sure your specimen belongs to this genus.
