I have a specimen, which in principle looks the same as Wolfgang's but is different from the one shown by Claude.
With such a solid transverse white band I suspect Wolfgang's and my specimens are Ceroplesis adusta (Harold, 1879), but Claude's may be Ceroplesis molator (Fabricius, 1787).
Can anyone confirm this?

Finally, I think wolfi's and my specimens are Ceroplesis buettneri (Kolbe, 1863), found in Benin, Togo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal. The photo above compares my specimen with that shown in K. ADLBAUER, Cerambyciden aus Senegambien (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae), Kol. Rundschau, 63, 279 - 292, 1993.
