Dear Zhu, the picture you sent me by PM has completely different body proportions:
455.22 KB
This species seems to be Arhopaloscelis bifasciatus Kraatz, 1879 (Desmiphorini). Cf. here.
What is the real insect

Dear Prof.Xavier: Yes, I am kidding. As Prof.Vitali said the later one is real. The first image was tortured and twisted when shifted from a left-right position to an up-down view. You know Chinese famous Cerambycoidea Taxonomist Jiang Shunan once also joked that He did know little about longicornia when he was over 80 years old.He was born in 1914 and passed away in 2013. Best Regards to you all. |
