Not sure on this specimen from Vietnam.

Quite large as well, can measure if needed.

Not Acalolepta, but Epepeotes vestigialis diverseglabratus (Pic, 1943) may be

That's right, your specimen is Paraepepeotes marmoratus (Pic, 1925). We have the holotype picture here.

Ah brilliant! That's fits perfectly. It did look too well marked? for Epepeotes vestigialis diverseglabratus.
