Pachydissus patricius Holzschuh, 1991 ( holotype here ) has been described from Saraburi, XI.1988, Thailande which is a totally fake data as proved here.
It is possible that such quite big species might have been described before by Pascoe, or another author from Borneo, or somewhere around Malaysia...
If somebody recognize this species, thanks for science. |

There is just one Pachydissus from Borneo... P. foveiscapus, which is clearly different. Holzschuh told me that that P. foveiscapus was not a typical Pachydissus, however he didn't want to create a new genus.
The holotype of P. patricius is female and 28mm. I am familiar with almost all Cerambycini from Borneo and this one does not look familiar to me. |

Ok, thanks. Let's wait more looks, somebody may recognize it. May be we have to search in others Cerambycini genus ? |
