I see sometimes request for recent papers in revues such as "les Cahiers magellanes" that is specialised in Cerambycidae . I am not really against pdf (when there are old or rare) but one must know that revues needs money to be printed. Money doesn't go in the pocket of the author or editor. If someone is really passionated by a group, he must buy this kind of revue. the money that costs such revue is very much more lower than the passion itself (travel, buying insect, etc.) and there are no excuses to not spare some money to buy revues. Even you are not interested by printed papers, it is a gesture of common sense, mutual aid and solidarity. If the revue doesn't survive it is your passion that will not survive to. Publications are the blood of the communication (description, datas, etc.). If your are intetesed by specific papers for specific reason, the best is to request to author first (if he is still alive of course). Thierry BOUYER

Très bien Thierry, je partage complètement ton point de vue !

Good statement Thierry I agree with you generally ! Especially for recent or current papers the author should be ask, and he can decide by himself for exchange.
