Nysina rubriventris (Gressitt, 1937) should be reddish beneath. Otherwise, with ventral side black, it should be Nysina orientalis (White, 1853).
If someone could help more... |

In case it helps, I have this sp. identified as Nysina orientalis (White) from Laos, male. And ventral sides are black, not the abdomen. With that glabrous spot on pronotum. Seems close.

My Nysina rubriventris (Gressitt, 1937) from Laos have a reddish metasternum, elytron are orange pale, and their size is smaller (10mm).
Nysina orientalis (White, 1853) has more reddish elytron, black metasternum, and a size about 16-17 mm
I think Bill's specimen should be Nysina orientalis
