Name is now Xylotrechus (Ootora) aureounifasciatus Wakejima, 2006 (in NIISATO T. & WAKEJIMA T., 2008). Holotype specimen does not show small black spot in yellow area, but you should be right. |

I do not know. Does somebody have this paper ? NIISATO T. & WAKEJIMA T., 2008. Xylotrechus villioi (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) and its Relatives TAICHIUS. Special Publication of the Japan Coleopterological Society, Osaka (2): 439-465, 73 figs, 1 carte. |

Nothing about a variation of this species in the paper by Niisato & Wakejima; I think you should publish a short note about this nice specimen. |
