I received a collaboration request from one of my colleague once working at Museum of natural history Luxembourg:
The Genetics Department of the Biology (Adam Mickiewicz University) in Poznan, Poland is looking for collaboration in a project concerning the genetic analysis of Cerambyx cerdo from Italy, Spain, Portugal and southern France to make comparison between the populations from centre and edge of their occurrence.
Fresh adults and larvae should be conserved in alcohol ( best absolute ethanol). Also dry individuals are welcome, but not older than 10 years. From the exemplars, which should be sent back, we would take only a part of antennae or a leg. The optimal count of individuals would we between 20-30 from every population.
