This specimen closely matches with the description of C. indicus furnished in "BREUNING S., 1935. Novae species Cerambycidarum. IV. Folia Zoologica et Hydrobiologica, Riga 8 (2):262"...but I'm unable to make complete sense out of the google translated version (I'm having trouble over the part where the description speaks of something similar second band), hence I kindly ask for the opinion if this specimen agrees with the description...
This species reminds me more of the genus Demodes.
But Demodes seems to be having emarginated eyes whereas this specimen has eyes subdivided...and literature says Demodes have pronotum wider at base but Clyzomedus as having pronotum constricted at the base...isn't this Clyzomedus?
