Loc: Kerala; size: 7 mm... this specimen closely resembles N. ventralis; but with non-punctate pronotum, differently colored elytra and partially reddish fore femur, it seems a little different one... thank you

The other possibility might be N. subternigra Breuning, 1960, with elytral punctuation coarser, marginal apical spine of elytra longer and femurs nearly completely black... difficult, without checking the type (Belgium)
