Loc: Karnataka; size: 10 mm; with ventral side completely black it is close to N. ventralis and N. subternigra ...
Head brick red colour, pronotum and scutellum darker than elytra... any help with this?

N. ventralis seems to be a more northern species (Assam, Myanmar) while N. subternigra was also described from Travancore... but they might also be synonyms or subternigra be a southern subspecies of the previous.
