Can anyone explain how a species described from Thailand is now an inhabitant of Sulawesi?
Perhaps this species in Sulawesi is something else.

It is not P. sulcatus as in Laos etc, but probably a new species to describe.

But I do not know if Bali's and Sulawesi's species are the same.

La segmentation antennaire est différente (shaping) à partir du 6em article..
Je pense aussi à une autre espèce (ou ssp)

I think it is Pachylocerus pilosus Guérin-Méneville, 1844, described from Java. (holotype here).
The two bulge-shaped ribs at the base of the elytra are identical, as well as the lateral dark area. The structure of the antennae is also the same.
