Edeage du specimen.
Ce Thermonotus vient du sud Vietnam. L'espèce la plus proche est Thermonotus pasteuri Ritsema, 1890 décrit de l'île de Nias, mais aussi signalé de Sumatra.
Le sud Vietnam étant fort loin de la localité typique, j'aimerais vérifier précisément s'il s'agit bien de T. pasteuri...je suspecte bien sûr une espèce sœur. |

Le spécimen de Sumatra est un mâle.
Outre l'apex des élytres plus ou moins noir, la différence est la longueur des antennes. |

Oui, et l’écusson me semble différent, n'est pas?
Le disque du pronotum a une forme différente.
Autres choses, je ne sais pas, mais il faut repréparer la tête d'une façon correcte. |

Oui pour la tête. Je vais le faire, on verra mieux...et je ferai une photo de l'autre profil  .
L'apex est bien différent : subtronqué chez le vietnamien, arrondi chez pasteuri. Ensuite, sans édéage de pasteuri... |
