Maybe this is a strange Oedemeridae. (???) The position of the antennae and eyes is unusual. Whatever it is... quite interesting. |

I do not have the paper in which it was described, but it does show similarities with the New World species of the tribe.

After reviewing the description (with my limited ability to read French), I believe you are correct.
I agree this is Conopogaster.
