Thanks Jerome, that is also what I thought.

The only specimen of that species I have, has the pronotum
shining metallic green and is completely punctured.

This specimen has the pronotum opaque black, with a longitudinal impunctate line down the center.

Hello Larry

Normally inornata should have 1 longitudinal line composed of white bristles faded on each side of the pronotum and the median longitudinal line is normally (?) A line without punctuation.
As far as I'm concerned I've never seen inornata with the brilliant pronotum? Can it be something else? But I do not know particularly these groups .... the others either by the way .....

In Titan database, Cordylomera inornata = Cordylomera inerme (Aurivillius, 1925).

Cordylomera:
1. from Zambia, dull pronotum with impunctate area down the center and laterally with vitta of white setae.

2 and 3. from Tanzania, pronotum metallic punctate throughout with no setal vittae.

The correct name is however Cordylomera inermis (Aurivillius, 1925).
Please, inform Titan Base
