12 mm, Oudomxay Province, Laos.
Close to Dystasia nubila Pascoe, 1886 (but from Sumatra), or Dystasia laosica Breuning, 1965 (but spines of scapus different, etc).
Does anyone know this species?

From the same area, there is also Dystasia siamensis Breuning, 1938.
Can anyone help me to understand the description? Is it a species with a thorny scapus? |

| Oui, c'est une espèce avec un dent sur le scapus, mais la couleur des élytres, des pattes et des antennes ne correspond pas. |

- Ce n'est pas non plus Dystasia laosica Breuning, 1965 aux épines bien plus courtes. Je peux écarter aussi le Mimospiniscapus tonkineus Pic, 1930 qui est une espèce aux antennes bien plus courtes.
- Mon spécimen est très proche de Dystasia nubila Pascoe, 1886 de Sumatra (cf photographie du type); le dessin post médian des élytres est différent, mais je ne peux pas prouver qu'il s'agit d'une espèce différente car la description de Pascoe est insuffisante.  |

On peut rêver...
Est-ce que la clef de Breuning(1963), ou sa redescription de Dystasia nubila permettent d'écarter cette espèce ? ( le nord du Laos est quand même très loin de Sumatra !...)
