102.64 KB

Sofala Province

This was preliminarily determined as Oculobrium but I do not think so.
Maybe closer to Duffyoemida?
Does anyone have the paper for Duffyoemida barkeri Martins 1977?

After looking at Martins 1977 I think it is D. barkeri based on the pronotal tubercles, strong cicatrix, and punctured elytra. If anyone has one to compare it with I would be appreciative since I have seen no MOZ records.

I am just noticing the response. I was focused on the clearly punctate elytra which are supposed to be impunctate in D. impunctipennis. I will look to the other characters of the pronotum and meta femora when I get to the specimen. Any other genera you might consider with the cicatrix?
