Sofala Prov. Mozambique

I keyed this to P. subvariolosa using Breuning 1961 (if the punctation is coarse). The dark lateral elytrae do not seem to agree, can anyone confirm?

Possibly! But it seems to me that the sides of the elytra are black?
I'm not sure but indeed it seems the most probable as a species? A closer look?

The sides do have a black stripe that is setae, not rubbed. I did not see this in the P. subvariolosa description. Perhaps something recognized since 1961? I think the other Pterolophia specimen I posted may be the same but recently dead.
