From Sabah, Trus Madi, 8-9 mm.
It looks like genus Athylia.

It surely looks like Similosodus. There are four species from Borneo. Seems close to Similosodus fuscosignatus, but is it ?

Probably S. ursulus (Pascoe, 1866).

There is a modest similarity between this specimen and Pascoe's illustration of 1866. A lot of his illustrations are just "close". Holzschuh or Hudepohl may have been the provider of this name for the first specimen I ever received from Borneo. Unfortunately, I have not kept all of the old paper coorespondence.

Thank you Dan and Andreas. A bit more clear photo of S. ursula's det Holz. to compare. As Andreas says, it's near but different,(not so much as far as photos are concerned).
